Six Feet Under - Existentialism, the TV Show.
Flight of the Conchords - lives in my head rent free
My So-Called Life - Generation Catalano
West Wing - USA - our liberal AU fan fiction
Veep - almost certainly based on eavesdropping in bars in DuPont Circle.
Alpha House - a lot like Veep, shows the absurdity of a lot of politics.
What We Do In The Shadows - Vampires in Staten Island
Reservation Dogs - this show is hilarious and very accurate
Euphoria - May they all end up oh a little farm like little house on the prairie.

Anyone else notice how quickly Brian recognizes the ring?
He poured cold water on Justin’s dream- eyed school boy fantasy end then this ring pops up. Brian sees it for what it is, an empty promise.
But it bothers him. He immediately says “buy him flowers.” - the ones he didn’t buy.
He belies his indifference with the $17 tip and an offer to buy a drink. In stark contrast to Ethan, his actions speak for themselves.
Justin very literally tore apart the roses when he broke up with Ethan, punctuating the end of his romantic fantasy.

No. This is a very dangerously misguided take. I was going to write a response to this but I can’t say it better than Representative Pearson himself. I ask that you listen. Really listen to what he’s saying.
TN Legislature’s response to school shootings is to expel three members of the legislature, Gloria Johnson of Knoxville, Justin Jones of Nashville, and Justin Pearson, for “speaking out of turn.”

Okay yall, I need you to listen up. Maureen Turner is our only trans voice in the Oklahoma house, and they have recently been censured for “harboring a fugitive” (letting the partner of a victim of police brutality come down from a panic attack in their office.) it’s thinly veiled bullshit to keep them from fighting the anti trans legislation happening right now.
They’re also the first Muslim representatives in the state, and are constantly receiving threats to their safety from hate mail.
If you can, please donate to their campaign. If you can’t, consider sending them a letter of support. Gods know they could use some positive mail.
Seriously, Oklahoma trans folks are going through a lot right now. Our access to healthcare and even our right to visibly exist in public is going to be taken away from us the moment session ends in May, if not sooner. My partner and I are one of many families that are preparing to flee. And Rep Turner is one of the only people fighting for us. So please, if you can, show trans Oklahomans some support but uplifting our only voice in the house.
